Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Baker to join our team at Farmer Joe's Fresh Market LLC. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods that meet our exceptional standards.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and stock bakery workstations to ensure efficient production.
  • Rotate products to maintain freshness and follow quality control schedules.
  • Prepare baked goods from scratch, adhering to our standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, free from safety hazards.
  • Restock and assist with inventory as needed.
  • Execute merchandising standards consistent with our company's guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
  • Food Handling/Safety Certification (preferred but not required).
  • Able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Experience in a bakery environment.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong creative background and ability to suggest alternatives.
  • Extensive knowledge of food safety, including temperature control and storage.
  • Expertise with baking and knife skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to give clear instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility.
  • Able to work in hot, noisy, and close conditions.
