Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Foster independence and provide emotional support through compassionate care and companionship.
- Encourage participation in life enrichment activities.
- Facilitate open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience.
- Experience in Memory Care is advantageous.
- Current caregiver certification as required by state regulations, or willingness to obtain.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to acquire.
- Previous experience in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Senior Living is beneficial.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
