About the Role

Cherry Health is seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at the Muskegon Recovery Center. As a Dosing Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing medication-assisted treatment for patients struggling with opiate addictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately dispense medication to patients in accordance with treatment plans
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and identify potential problems to ensure patient safety and well-being
  • Document patient information and treatment progress in electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to coordinate patient care and develop effective treatment plans
  • Participate in case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • LPN license in the State of Michigan
  • One year of clinical nursing experience
  • Understanding of substance use disorders and their treatment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic health records
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic Life Support Certification
