Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recipient Rights Advisor to assist with investigations of recipient complaints, review incident reports, and compile statistical reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social services and human rights principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with investigations of recipient complaints and reviews of incident reports
- Compile statistical reports for review by the Recipient Rights Officer
- Develop and present in-service training for HealthWest employees and contract agency staff on recipient rights
- Attend meetings and perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other human service field
- Two years' of work experience in social services
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a Michigan Driver License within 30 days of employment
- Reliable transportation for job duties
- Bilingual candidates highly desired
- Lived experiences with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders valued
- Individuals in recovery and individuals with experience in the Armed Services valued
