Product Manager for Optimized Checkout Experience

About the Role

As the Product Manager for the Optimized Checkout Dashboard, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a world-class checkout experience that helps millions of businesses set up, configure, and optimize their checkout processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to craft UIs and APIs that make it easier for businesses to build a conversion-optimized checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and operate the Dashboard experience that helps businesses set up, configure, and optimize their checkout experience.
  • Develop deep empathy for the problems that businesses are encountering and champion their needs.
  • Build an understanding of the competitive landscape, commerce ecosystem, and wider Stripe offering to design differentiated and extensible product experiences.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, legal, and other teams to jointly shape product experiences that delight Stripe's users.
  • Partner with teams across Stripe that aim to build into the Optimized Checkout Dashboard.
  • Use metrics to inform your point of view and leverage analytics to measure success.
About You

Minimum Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in a product role.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong focus on user-experiences, from front-end UI through developer docs and technical integrations.
  • Can put themselves in the shoes of their users and be a steward of crafting great experiences.
  • Experience working on financial or commerce products.
  • Experience working with GTM teams to bring a new product to market.
  • Proven track record of delivering robust software solutions at scale.
  • Experience in working in a highly cross-functional role that requires advanced stakeholder management.
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems.
