Position Overview

Under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting high-volume recruitment efforts across various departments. This position is responsible for managing the screening, interviewing, and scheduling processes for prospective candidates, while ensuring effective communication with hiring managers throughout the recruitment journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate candidate qualifications through thorough review of applications and resumes.
  • Conduct a significant number of initial phone interviews to assess candidates based on relevant skills, experience, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Serve as the primary contact for candidates expressing interest in employment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to arrange in-person interviews and recruitment events, following up to determine subsequent steps for candidates.
  • Maintain and present reports detailing key performance indicators such as hires by location and candidates in progress.
  • Organize and safeguard recruiting-related documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems.
  • Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local HR and labor regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing tasks.
  • Experience in a high-volume recruitment environment is preferred.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in recruitment or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
