Job Summary:

As a skilled Plumber at Butler Hospital, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all plumbing systems within the hospital. This includes repairing, installing, and servicing plumbing systems, as well as performing preventative maintenance on equipment. You will work closely with other trades, particularly HVAC, to ensure that all systems are functioning properly. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our facilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair, install, and service all plumbing systems, including heating and cooling equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required
  • Work closely with other trades to ensure smooth operation of all systems
  • Maintain records, reports, and inventories as required
  • Ensure compliance with relevant risk management, infection control, and safety policies and procedures

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Training and experience in maintenance in a hospital setting
  • May require trade license
