Job DescriptionSummary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate School-Based Occupational Therapist to work directly within the educational setting, providing comprehensive therapy services to help students achieve their maximum potential and succeed in their academic and social environments.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs, strengths, and areas requiring intervention.
  • Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Provide direct therapy services to students, including fine motor skills development, sensory integration, and adaptive techniques to improve daily functioning and classroom performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure coordinated and effective interventions.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to meet evolving needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
