Job Summary

Children's National Hospital is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Home Care team. As a PRN Occupational Therapist, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to pediatric clients in their homes, promoting independence and functional ability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments to identify client needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client needs and promote functional ability.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients in their homes, including hands-on therapy and education to clients and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
  • 1 year of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a pediatric setting.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the District of Columbia.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently, with bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
