Job Title: Command Center Specialist

At SP Plus Corporation, we are driven by our promise to make every moment matter for a world on the go. As a Command Center Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our parking access revenue control systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle high volumes of customer calls with courtesy and professionalism to resolve issues, answer questions, and address complaints.
  • Offer alternative solutions to retain customer satisfaction and provide exceptional service.
  • Communicate with customers using web-based tools and demonstrate proficiency in typing and grammar.
  • Utilize, monitor, and troubleshoot PARCS devices and supporting systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Make financial decisions to protect and collect revenues, and adjust customer accounts as needed.
  • Assist supervisors with special projects and perform miscellaneous assigned duties.
  • Manage multiple duties simultaneously and deliver exceptional client service via telephone.
  • Conduct detailed research and address customer inquiries to provide quality service.
  • Enter data and customer service work on a daily routine basis and prepare activity reports to track performance.
  • Track issues and ensure timely delivery of solutions from support teams.
  • Assist with financial and management accounts through processing and payment of invoices.
  • Support the office team with the setup of monthly and business parking permits, reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable, and preparation and maintenance of necessary records.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in call center, customer service, or accounting with problem-solving and ability to react quickly and professionally.
  • Advanced multi-tasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and accomplish tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Positive attitude with a productive, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Superior telephone etiquette and strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate intermediate or advanced computer skills, including use of Word, Excel, and web browsers.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
