Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician IV to maintain and troubleshoot equipment at our semiconductor and composites manufacturing facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The successful candidate will ensure equipment uptime, perform preventive maintenance, and repair/calibrate key process equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing tools related to the function and operation of the aerospace composites and semiconductor plant and facility.
  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and support equipment and systems.
  • Work with engineers and managers to resolve issues or plan for acquiring/installing new equipment or systems.
  • Locate and order parts and materials.
  • Assume a leadership role in training and support of new technicians.
  • Maintain facility data collection requirements and procedures.
  • Identify nonconformances and participate in finding solutions.
  • Deploy the Quality Management System as it applies to the scope of work.
  • Support Facilities shut down and projects off shift as scheduled by department management.
  • Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
Requirements
  • High school diploma.
  • 8+ years of equipment maintenance experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device, or a heavily regulated manufacturing facility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Respirator experience - must be clean shaven.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Osha and/or safety training.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment, or a related trade.
  • Understanding of mechanical, electro-pneumatics, digital and analogue electronics, and working knowledge of Automated Building Controls is a plus.
  • Familiar with motor controls, compressed air and gas systems, and gas control systems is a plus.
Additional Requirements
  • Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position.
  • Able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable working in tight spaces.
  • Must be able to move repetitively, bend or twist, and use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods - 8 hours min.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces.
