The Project Superintendent is a key member of our team at APX Construction Group LLC, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects. This individual will oversee all field operations, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Responsible for the overall management of construction projects, including coordination with project managers, foremen, and field crews.
  • Quality Control: Ensures that all work meets the required standards, including safety, schedule, and quality control.
  • Cost Control: Responsible for managing project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Communication: Maintains effective communication with all team members, including project managers, foremen, and field crews, as well as with clients and vendors.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifies and resolves issues that may arise during project execution, ensuring minimal impact on the project timeline and budget.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar position in construction management.
  • Valid driver's license.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to read, understand, and implement project plans and documents.
  • Ability to multitask and exercise independent judgment related to the daily administration of projects.
  • Proven communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Aptitude to anticipate problems and identify solutions.
  • Ability to communicate highly detailed information between project managers, foremen, field crew, subcontractors, and architects/engineers.
  • Able to work in a team environment and foster positive and professional relationships.
  • Highly organized and disciplined.
  • Knowledge of construction-related equipment and proper use.

Physical Requirements

Required to sit for long periods of time; stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop.

Environment

Work is performed indoors (job-site trailer/office) and outdoors (construction site). Travel required as needed.
