Position Overview

Navion Senior Solutions is on the lookout for dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) who are committed to delivering exceptional care and physical support to our residents. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate assistance with daily living activities, ensuring that our residents feel valued and supported.

Work Schedule: Opportunities for both part-time and full-time positions are available.

Work Environment: This role is situated within our Assisted Living community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and fellow staff members.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, including mobility support and meal delivery.
  • Provide personal hygiene assistance, including bathing and the use of bedpans.
  • Deliver adjunct care as necessary, such as providing ice packs or dressings to alleviate discomfort.
  • Monitor and document residents' food intake and output, sharing this information with the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Implement infection control measures in all activities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols and report any safety concerns.
Qualifications
  • A genuine passion for working with the senior population.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Must possess a State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
  • Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association) is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with team leaders.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, particularly in interactions with residents and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
