Job Summary: We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Consulate Health Care. As a CNA, you will deliver direct care to residents and patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents.
  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Aiding in daily tasks such as using the telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
  • Providing medication reminders.
  • Observing and reporting changes in residents' condition and status.
  • Conducting rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
  • Assisting in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean up.
  • Providing companionship and conversation.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA certified nursing assistant certification course.
  • Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform essential job duties.
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
