We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Walnut Cove Health & Rehabilitation Center, where we prioritize the wellbeing and dignity of our residents.

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct care to residents and patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering personal care and support for activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Assisting residents with daily tasks, such as phone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
  • Performing light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
  • Providing medication reminders and observing changes in residents' condition.
  • Conducting rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
  • Assisting in dining, including escorting residents, serving, and clean up.
  • Offering companionship and conversation.

Required qualifications include:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA certification course.
  • Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform essential job duties.
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors with dignity and respect.
