Network Operations Specialist

SRT Communications is seeking a skilled Network Operations Specialist to join our technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our network availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor network methods and performance measurements to ensure and report on network availability and performance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams during maintenance and restoration actions.
  • Maintain network software for customers, including installs, removes, adds, moves, and changes.
  • Perform provisioning, testing, and troubleshooting as required.
  • Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate repairs with customers and arrange for technician dispatch as needed.
  • Generate Service Orders and Trouble Tickets to provision or dispatch technicians.
  • Ensure network availability through 24-hour real-time monitoring and alarm reporting.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • College education with concentration in mathematics, computer science, information technology, and/or telecommunications preferred.
  • Certifications of Net+ and A+ or higher preferred.
  • One- or two-years telecommunications or data networking industry experience beneficial.
