We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a Research Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our research initiatives and contributing to the advancement of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Experimentation and Data Collection: Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and maintain accurate records of research findings.
- Lab Maintenance and Organization: Ensure the lab is well-organized, clean, and equipped with necessary supplies and equipment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with research team members, communicate research findings, and provide support as needed.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with laboratory regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Biological Science, Chemistry, or Physical Science, plus 12 months of research experience, or 48 months of equivalent research experience in lieu of a degree.
- Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of biohazardous materials and chemical handling, detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform manual tasks.
