We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Hospitality Associate to join our team at Warr Acres Nursing Center. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Resident Care: Provide non-nursing, non-direct care duties to support the comfort and well-being of our residents, including making unoccupied resident beds, passing fresh drinking water, serving and removing resident food trays, and answering resident call lights.
- Housekeeping and Laundry: Transport soiled linen, label and store residents' personal items, stock linen carts, and store clean laundry items in residents' rooms.
- Personal Care: Combs and styles residents' hair, reads mail and writes letters for residents, and assists with transportation to and from the dining room, activities, and other areas.
- Communication and Teamwork: Maintain confidentiality, report incidents and concerns, and work collaboratively with inter-departmental personnel and other facility staff to ensure high-quality care.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete assigned tasks, follow work assignments and schedules, and report absences or tardiness.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents, ability to make independent decisions, and willingness to work harmoniously with others.
