Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Make guests feel comfortable and enhance their dining experience by being attentive, knowledgeable, and courteous.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Inform guests of specials and menu changes, take food and beverage orders, and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
  • Side Work: Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain clean service areas and ensure a clean and safe environment for guests.
  • Problem-Solving: Monitor and observe guests' dining experiences, respond promptly and courteously to any requests, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Payment and Service: Prepare final bills, present checks to guests, accept payment, process credit card charges, and make change as needed.
  • Adaptability: Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers and bussers as situations arise, and be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time, lift and carry trays, and move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Be available to work holidays and weekends as needed.
