Role Summary:
This Market Risk Governance Specialist role plays a critical part in ensuring the bank's market risk management functions are aligned with the company's risk appetite and risk limits identified. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of Market Risk or front office experience, with a good understanding of key risk metrics such as VaR, Stress testing etc., and a proven finance or risk background with quantitative skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain market risk coverage plans, execute monitoring, testing, and risk assessments, and distribute market risk reports.
  • Liaise with businesses to understand market trends and impacts on portfolio, utilizing knowledge of stress testing and its applicability to market risk.
  • Interface with the trading desk and other risk and support groups to ensure alignment with the bank's risk appetite and risk limits identified.


Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. You will also need strong quantitative skills, with experience working with financial models and data analysis. In addition, you will require excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving shared goals.

Pay Transparency:
The estimated annual salary range for this role is $138,000 - $215,500, based on experience, education, and skill set.
