RN Registered Nurse Fellowship Program

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool team at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, Texas. As a member of our team, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- At least one year of experience in pediatric critical care nursing.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Critical care certification (e.g., CCRN, PCCN).
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
