RN Fellowship Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool

Ascension Seton Northwest is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool team as a RN Fellowship. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the critical care setting, collaborating with a registered nurse preceptor to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Assist with patient care, including observation and documentation of patient healthcare needs, and communication of pertinent information to the registered nurse and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicating and recording changes in patient condition as appropriate.
- Participate in transition to practice programs to develop clinical thinking and enhanced clinical judgment to provide safe, competent, person-centered care.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.
- Critical Care RN and Pedi experience, with ability to float to NICU/PICU/CVICU/ED.
- 1+ years of RN experience.
