Advanced Rehabilitation Clinician

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Rehabilitation Clinician - Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a key member of our rehabilitation services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading clinical growth and change.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat a wide variety of injuries, diseases, and disabilities, including those requiring advanced clinical skills and techniques.
- Provide mentoring, strategic direction, and lead change for clinical teams across all Intermountain Rehabilitation Services.
- Work at least 50% of clinical time in area of specialty/certification.
- Function as a core clinician, including appropriate documentation, patient billing, and staff management.
- Perform advanced practice patient care, prioritizing patient signs and symptoms and engaging patients while considering patient complexities.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise and leadership for specialty department/clinical programs.
- Foster and promote interdisciplinary care and motivate others.
- Communicate with manager/director regarding clinical program's progress, challenges, and strategic plans.
- Meet managers established minimum productivity standards.
- Current State Physical Therapist License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- At least 3 years of experience performing as a sports or orthopedic clinical specialist (board certified).
- Successfully achieved national association clinical specialty (e.g. Orthopedic Clinical Specialists (OCS)).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- One year of leadership experience in a clinical setting, including creating and managing projects to completion.
- Experience teaching groups.
- Knowledge of mandatory joint commission, state, and federal regulations.
- Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, and Walking.
