Chileda Institute Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant House Manager to join our team. As a key member of our residential staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and success of our students with cognitive and behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the House Manager in managing and supervising the assigned house, ensuring that meaningful and viable programming is implemented.
- Train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on behavior programs, policies, and procedures.
- Positively promote and implement changes introduced by the Residential Team and Core Teams.
- Perform all assigned duties of DSPs, including recreational activities, skill development, and communication.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field is preferred, but at least one year of supervisory experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required.
