Job Overview

Position Summary:
As the **Senior Project Manager** at Element Consulting, you will be responsible for directing the planning, development, and implementation of various construction initiatives funded through a recent financial program. This position plays a vital role in the enhancement and renewal of educational facilities, ensuring that all projects adhere to timelines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance for the Construction Program, including the identification, prioritization, and execution of projects.
  • Oversee project financials, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring optimal use of funds and achievement of objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders to establish project scope, specifications, and manage the planning and execution phases.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, track progress, and address any challenges to uphold schedules and quality standards.
  • Manage procurement processes, bid invitations, and vendor selection to ensure cost-effective project completion.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
  • Facilitate communication among team members, administrators, and stakeholders.
  • Offer leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree is advantageous).
  • 7-10 years of experience in construction management.
  • Familiarity with construction practices, DSA regulations, and project management principles.
  • Proficient in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Procore.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing construction initiatives within an educational context.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or LEED Accredited Professional are beneficial.
