**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at the City of Arlington, TX. As a key member of our Parks and Recreation department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to citizens, responding to inquiries, and assisting with facility rentals and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by registering citizens for activities, receiving money, and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Assist with facility maintenance, such as cleaning up spills and cleaning restrooms and weight rooms.
  • Coordinate and schedule programs, including public events, facility rentals, and special meetings.
  • Operate a multi-line telephone system and take messages for appropriate staff.

Requirements:

  • High school education and a minimum of six months related clerical/customer service experience.
  • Ability to learn and apply computer skills to register customers, authorize refunds, and account for site revenues.
  • Ability to maintain the cleanliness and safe condition of the work site.
  • Successful completion of the City of Arlington's CPR and First Aid training required upon hire.
