We are currently seeking a Requirements Analyst to join our team. The Requirements Analyst will collaborate with the Project Director, Project Manager, and cross-functional teams to facilitate the execution of significant departmental initiatives.

The Responsibilities of the Requirements Analyst include:

  • Gathering, documenting, reviewing, and securing approval of business and system requirements from key stakeholders utilizing industry-standard methodologies.
  • Leading requirements gathering sessions; analyzing collected requirements; identifying, documenting, and validating system requirements for ongoing integration and deployment.
  • Preparing proposals for optimal technology solutions based on gathered requirements.
  • Documenting the current state of systems and proposing future state improvements.
  • Creating requirements documentation such as use cases, screen prototypes, and specifications while adhering to established templates and utilizing a requirements management tool.
  • Analyzing, extracting, transforming, and documenting the functionality, logic, business rules, and context diagrams of legacy systems.
  • Conducting a gap analysis of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications to assess their ability to meet implementation requirements.
  • Developing and presenting justifications for system or business process requirements.
  • Analyzing quantitative data to inform recommendations and decisions.
  • Evaluating and providing feedback on vendor deliverables and artifacts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Creating or enhancing existing templates for business analysis functions.
  • Participating in project meetings and discussions with stakeholders.
  • Providing additional business analysis support as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience:
    • Working on complex projects as a Requirements Analyst.
    • Client-focused business and requirements analysis experience and documentation.
    • Conducting business process analysis and optimization in a technology environment.
    • Creating comprehensive requirements documentation.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with coursework in Information Technology, Business or Public Administration, Project Management, or Communications.
  • 50% on-site collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).
  • Ability to apply industry best practices and regulatory mandates to system requirements.
  • Experience in identifying project risks/issues and proposing effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks to a defined schedule.
  • Current Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification.
