Position Overview

The Junior Software Support Specialist will play a crucial role in providing client-focused support, maintaining and enhancing current software solutions and websites, and assisting in the implementation of more efficient processes.

This role is hybrid, requiring presence in the office at least two times per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver first-level client support for assigned software solutions.
  • Communicate with clients to provide clear, written instructions while documenting incidents or issues for our resolutions team; utilize the appropriate communication channel based on the complexity of the issue, recording results in JIRA.
  • Diagnose and prioritize software issues, identifying and documenting root causes.
  • Maintain and improve existing software solutions.
  • Assist in developing and documenting potential solutions for identified issues.
  • Support the preparation of functional and technical documentation.
  • Engage in code reviews and participate in release and sprint planning sessions.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Familiarity with professional programming is preferred, though no prior experience is required.
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, ASP.Net, C#, MVC, SQL, etc.
  • Understanding of relational databases and object-relational mapping concepts.
  • Awareness of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent listening abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills.
