Overview:

As a Helpdesk Technician with General Dynamics Information Technology, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT systems. Your expertise will be essential in providing technical assistance and support to users, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software
  • Monitor network systems and respond to queries and incidents
  • Perform hardware and software installations and upgrades
  • Operate and maintain network connections and software required to monitor systems
  • Assist with the collection and evaluation of incident reporting practices and operations
  • Manage IT incidents and problems in accordance with IT service management principles

Requirements:

  • HS/GED and 2+ years of related experience
  • DoD Manual M at the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I role
  • TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph
  • Experience in working with a ticketing system, such as Remedy, SCSM, ServiceNow
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer service focus
