Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced In-House MRI Electronic Repair Technician to join our team at MXR Imaging, Inc. This role involves installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of imaging systems and associated parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair parts down to component level for sales and internal service requests based on repair list, and provide phone technical support to customers and field service engineers regarding installation, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
  • Confirm own tech stock for repair of parts based on repair list and communicate items needing to be purchased, prior to items being needed for parts repair; Maintain proper tech stock levels.
  • Perform parts testing in a bench setting and/or system testing, repair analysis, and system diagnostic testing.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and order at workstation and within the warehouse.
  • Demonstrate adherence to the business core values in all professional interactions with internal and external customers and exhibit integrity.
  • Support Quality objectives as it pertains to the organization and the role.

Requirements:

  • AA degree or higher in Electronics required or Military equivalent.
  • Electronic Technician certification or comparable certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or related fields.
  • Experience with JTAG would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of ISO Standards.

Competencies:

  • Proficiency with using diagnostic hardware including wave generators, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters.
  • Proficiency in using electronic theory to troubleshoot high and low voltage DC and AC circuits.
  • Proficiency in soldering and sourcing components.
  • Knowledge of RF circuits and theory.
  • Good technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Typical use of hand tools and some power/air tools.
  • Attention to details and well-organized with good follow through.
  • Works well with all levels of management, client, end users, and vendors.
  • Great physical stamina and manual dexterity.
