Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Generalist to join our team at Veolia North America. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing and executing HR strategies, initiatives, and processes that support the organization's goals and ensure a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to assess staffing needs, create job descriptions, and manage the recruitment process for Utility HQ positions.
  • Support the performance review process by providing guidance to managers on setting goals, delivering feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Identify development opportunities and design or recommend training programs tailored to the specific needs of Utility HQ teams.
  • Provide guidance on compensation strategy, ensuring that salaries are competitive and aligned with market trends for Utility HQ roles.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in business related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of general HR experience in various HR disciplines, including employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
