As a Principal Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and motivating engineering teams focused on developing applications that enhance member experiences through personalization.
  • Fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the engineering team, emphasizing scalable solutions and robust execution.
  • Managing medium to large-scale projects by analyzing requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Designing and implementing scalable applications utilizing both on-premise and cloud technologies.
  • Conducting benchmarking and testing, documenting results, and sharing insights with the engineering community.
  • Providing technical and architectural guidance to a large group of engineers on assigned projects.
  • Mentoring engineers in microservices architecture and enhancing their technical skills.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to identify business needs and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • A deep understanding of Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and microservice architecture.
  • Expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with experience in distributed systems.
  • Experience in implementing Event Driven Architecture patterns.
  • A disciplined approach to software development, including code reviews and documentation.
  • A passion for continuous learning and adopting new technologies.
  • Knowledge of core design patterns for building fault-tolerant systems.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as JavaScript, React, and mobile technologies.
  • Familiarity with automating CI/CD pipelines for microservices.
