Job Summary:

The Idaho Division of Human Resources is seeking a highly skilled POST Training Coordinator 2 to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing law enforcement training programs across the state. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of law enforcement and work with a talented team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and implement law enforcement training programs across the state

Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies and training providers

Monitor and assess law enforcement programs for compliance with POST standards

Distribute training announcements and updates

Meet with criminal justice officials to assess regional in-service training needs

Provide support and services for officers regarding standards and certifications

Requirements:

At least five (5) years' current or prior experience as a POST certified law enforcement officer (or other state/federal equivalent)

At least three (3) years' experience as a certified law enforcement instructor

Strong knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
