Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Planner to join our team at Quality Carriers. As an Equipment Planner, you will be responsible for creating and managing the daily asset plan to ensure maximum utilization of our equipment and meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the daily asset plan to cover all available revenue opportunities and meet customer expectations.
  • Work closely with the load planner to ensure the correct equipment is ready for loading at the appointed time.
  • Manage tank washes and vendors to ensure equipment is ready for use and meets quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance facility to ensure all trailers are in good working condition and compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assist the load planner in making asset assignments and ensure complete work assignments are sent to drivers.
  • Cross-train with the load planner to provide backup support as needed.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in dispatcher or transportation operations.
  • Basic knowledge of the company's various business operations.
  • Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong analytical skills and good communication skills.
  • TMW software experience is a plus.
