About the Position

The Cash Posting Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing payments, managing remittances, and maintaining the integrity of our accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process manual payment postings from primary and secondary insurance, including checks and credit cards.
  • Organize and post remittance advice in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Verify insurance information on file matches remittance advice.
  • Balance and run final recaps for all folders.
  • Pull remits as needed.
  • Investigate discrepancies between remittance payment amounts and the check edit report.
  • Forward supplemental issues to the appropriate department for investigation.
  • Support the team as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and processing claims.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in basic math and business calculations.
  • Working knowledge of computer/data entry with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Basic level of accounting software proficiency.
  • Basic level of MS Office proficiency.

Compensation Package
