Virtuous is seeking a proactive and results-driven sales executive with a proven history of building, mentoring, and enhancing sales teams. In this role, you will guide a team dedicated to driving growth in Mid-Market Sales, particularly within the nonprofit sector.
Your duties will encompass overseeing a team of Account Executives focused on excelling in value-driven sales, employing a consultative approach to promote and position Virtuous effectively. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will create strategic account plans, ensure your team is well-prepared for client interactions, and leverage your previous successes to implement impactful initiatives within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Formulate, refine, and execute a comprehensive success strategy for the team that aligns with the company's objectives for both Enterprise and Mid-Market accounts.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Foster a high-performance culture by attracting, onboarding, and retaining exceptional sales talent.
- Expertly train teams in strategic deal management, value positioning, and navigating multi-stakeholder engagements.
- Provide continuous mentorship, coaching, and constructive feedback to empower team members to reach their full potential.
- Regularly evaluate individual and team performance through direct observation, key performance indicators (KPIs), and relevant metrics.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Generate accurate and comprehensive sales forecasts based on analysis, historical data, and current market trends.
- Deliver regular, detailed reports to the executive team regarding sales performance, emphasizing key accomplishments, challenges, and suggested actions.
- Cultural Development:

- Experience:

- A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a leadership capacity.
- Certifications or a history of growth and ongoing education in sales management or related fields are advantageous.
