About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the continued financial health of the organization by providing critical analyses and insights that are used for informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Design, prepare, and update financial models in Excel to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly reporting packages comparing actual and forecasted financials vs. budgets and identify variance drivers.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work cross-functionally with business partners to ensure alignment and consistent messaging.
  • Performance Metrics: Identify, measure, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other operational and financial metrics.
  • Process Improvement: Seek continuous improvement opportunities in reports and processes to improve content and streamline production and distribution.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent related work or military experience.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in audit, accounting, or FP&A.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: 4 years of related experience including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Experience building or modifying dashboards in PowerBI or other BI tools.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized, and thorough information appropriate for intended audience.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to develop insightful, value-added, and actionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding drivers of the results; able to produce unambiguous, comprehensive, and accurate interpretations.
  • Work Style: Self-motivated work style; able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment.
