Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Vulnerability Specialist to join our team at the Department of the Navy. As a Cyber Vulnerability Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and demonstrating the exploitability of cyber vulnerabilities related to naval aircraft and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in identifying and demonstrating the exploitability of cyber vulnerabilities related to naval aircraft and systems.
  • Develop and maintain cyber toolsets and vulnerability research on various Naval Aviation systems.
  • Provide cost, schedule, and performance coordination and reporting for Research and Development efforts.
  • Collaborate with Naval Aviation leadership to identify and address cyber vulnerabilities.
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Leads a team that identifies cyber vulnerabilities and demonstrates their exploitability related to naval aircraft and related systems.
  • Leads an Research and Development (R&D) component of a Red team.
  • Providing cost, schedule, and performance coordination and reporting for Research and Development (R&D) efforts.
  • Leading a team that develops cyber toolsets.
