Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at the Department of the Navy. As a Lead IT Cybersecurity Expert, you will be responsible for identifying and demonstrating cyber vulnerabilities related to naval aircraft and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in identifying and demonstrating cyber vulnerabilities and their exploitability
  • Develop and maintain cyber toolsets and vulnerability research on various naval aviation systems
  • Provide cost, schedule, and performance coordination and reporting for Research and Development efforts
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance
Qualifications

Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Leading a team that identifies cyber vulnerabilities and demonstrates their exploitability related to naval aircraft and related systems
  • Leading a Research and Development (R&D) component of a Red team
  • Providing cost, schedule, and performance coordination and reporting for Research and Development (R&D) efforts
  • Leading a team that develops cyber toolsets
