Key Responsibilities- Manage Classified Networks: You will be responsible for managing several classified networks, ensuring that they are secure and compliant with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Deploy Systems and Cyber Security Compliance: You will oversee the deployment of systems, ensuring that they meet all cyber security compliance requirements, and manage IT equipment inventory, setup, and lifecycle management, including system disposal processing.
- Manage AV Systems: You will be responsible for managing multiple AV systems that network to various locations at MLS processing, ensuring that they are secure and functioning properly.
- Apply Security Principles and Policies: You will apply principles, policies, and procedures necessary to ensure the protection of data, including serving as an Information System Security Officer responsible for the protection and integrity of all forms of media.
- Liaise with Cyber Security Directorate: You will act as a liaison with the Cyber Security Directorate (CSD) Security Controls Assessors, incorporating DoD cyber security directives (JSIG) Risk Management Framework (RMF)), DoDM 5205.07 series, ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements, etc.
- Additional Tasking: You may be asked to perform additional tasking based on the needs of the government customer.
- Education and Experience: You will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and 5 years of experience working with computer systems security requirements and knowledge of DoD 5205.07 volumes 1-4 and the NISPOMSUPOVP.
- Certifications: You must be DoD 8570.1 IAM-I compliant, holding at least one of the following industry certifications: Security+ CE, CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, or HCISPP.
- General Knowledge: You will have general knowledge of encryption devices and how they tie into a WAN, and be certified with encryption devices.
- Previous Experience: You will have previously held a Privileged User Account for Classified Networks (System Administrator, ISSO, SCA, etc.) and experience acting as a Data Transfer Agent.
- Positive Relationships: You will be able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
- Effective Communication: You will have professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proactive Approach: You will take a proactive approach to your work, and be able to accomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision.
- Critical Thinking: You will have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational Skills: You will have impressive organizational skills, allowing you to effectively manage competing priorities.
- U.S. Citizenship: You will be a U.S. citizen, and have an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Security Investigation: You will be subject to a government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
