Key Responsibilities:

  • Precisely inputting customer orders into the Transportation Management System (TMS), accounting for fluctuations in linehaul costs, fuel surcharges, and customer specifications.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and integrating carriers into your network.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with carriers through daily interactions.
  • Regularly assessing carrier capacity to uncover growth opportunities and enhance your business portfolio.
  • Negotiating rates with your carrier network through consistent follow-up communications.
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with contracted carriers; tracking locations and proactively addressing any issues that arise during transit to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Coordinating pickup and delivery schedules via phone and email; notifying team members of any scheduling conflicts.
  • Collaborating with your Account Executives and Management team to devise capacity solutions for current and prospective clients.
  • Assisting with additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, management, or administrative roles.
