Job Overview

SUMMARY
The selected candidate will oversee the collection of cash from gaming machines, table games, and self-service wagering kiosks, as well as the counting of these funds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are essential to the role and represent the typical environment encountered by a Team Member while fulfilling the primary functions of this position:

  • Assist fellow team members in the maintenance, servicing, and verification of all gaming voucher redemption machines located on the gaming floor.
  • Support the team in the collection of cash from slot machines and the accurate counting of the collected funds.
  • Participate in the collection of cash from table games and ensure proper counting of the funds.
  • Help with the collection of cash from self-service sports wagering kiosks and accurately count the funds from these machines.
  • Responsible for restocking supplies in the Count Room and the Count Room office as necessary.
  • Ensure that all vacant, non-fixed slot seating is neatly arranged and that the aisles are kept clear while moving through the gaming area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent; one year of experience in money handling is preferred.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; capable of writing basic correspondence.
  • MATH SKILLS: Proficient in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • COMPUTER SKILLS: Intermediate proficiency in PC skills; experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
  • CERTIFICATIONS: Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary licensing from the appropriate gaming authority.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are typical for this position. The noise level is moderate, and candidates may be exposed to smoke while on the gaming floor. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and physically demanding environment.

  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, or crawling for extended periods.
