Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Department Supervisor to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our Radiology Nursing team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery.



Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care and promote a positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes and promote effective multidisciplinary teamwork.
  • Manage daily operations, including patient flow, staffing, and resource allocation, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Act as an interdepartmental liaison, promoting effective communication and collaboration with other departments and teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an ARRT Radiology Technologist or 2 years of experience as a registered nurse.
  • 3-5 years of critical care experience, preferably in Interventional Radiology or other nursing experience in a procedural department.
  • Current Permit to Practice, ARRT Registered, and Basic Life Support certification.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
