Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Cath Lab Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during special radiologic procedures, preparing and positioning patients for procedures, and performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during special radiologic procedures, including coronary angiograms, PTCAs, peripheral and coronary artery stent placements, pediatric and adult heart catheterizations, peripheral PTAs, ICD implants, PPM implants, electrophysiology studies, EP mapping, EP ablation, valvuloplastie, structural heart procedures, and laser procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring and radiation safety.
  • Communicate patient information to physicians before, during, and after procedures.
  • Participate in relevant continuing education programs to maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program.
  • Active unencumbered Radiology Tech Iowa state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.
  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
