Job Title: PCB Engineering Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled PCB Engineering Technician to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and testing of our wireless audio products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret circuit schematics and relate them to physical PCB structures.
  • Experience with AV products and PCB components for AV products.
  • Fault find failing PCBs to component level and recommend/implement root-cause fixes.
  • Work with lab equipment, including o-scopes, meters, spectrum analyzers, and RF measurement tools.
  • Use PCB repair equipment, solder/de-solder/reflow tools.
  • Follow test procedures and contribute to test yield improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • An Associate's Degree in EET is preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience performing advanced levels of circuit board/systems test, failure analysis, and repair.
  • Excellent understanding of electronic circuits, components, and their operation.
  • Understanding of firmware, hardware, and/or software.
  • In-depth knowledge of test equipment and technical documentation.
  • Ability to lift inventory up to 30-50 pounds.
  • Experience organizing and shipping product.
  • Audio wireless technology experience.
