Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital content strategies to engage target audiences and promote the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center's brand.
  • Conceptualize, design, write, edit, and film high-quality digital content to support the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center's marketing goals.
  • Manage and maintain the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center's social media presence on various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Collaborate with the Community Relations team to develop and execute social media content calendars and strategies.
  • Assist in coordinating major events and supporting community outreach and engagement initiatives.
  • Develop accompanying materials for marketing campaigns, including brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials.
  • Monitor current social media and digital media trends to evaluate their consistency with established marketing strategies and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Identify and engage in online discussions in a timely manner, crafting responses to commenters and community members.
  • Participate in social media meetings to gather and provide new ideas from team members, overseeing digital content frameworks while contributing to team goals.
  • Participate in the maintenance of an evergreen digital content library.
  • Assist in coordinating the collection, compilation, and analysis of online sentiment and engagement data.
  • Identify, create, and capture shareable moments related to the community.
  • Consult and contribute to the execution of social media special projects and campaigns, contributing to the unit content calendar.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

About the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center:

The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center is the Official Cancer Center of New Mexico and the only National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Center in a 500-mile radius. Its more than 136 board-certified oncology specialty physicians include cancer surgeons in every specialty, adult and pediatric hematologists/medical oncologists, gynecologic oncologists, and radiation oncologists. They, along with more than 600 other cancer healthcare professionals, provide treatment to 65% of New Mexico's cancer patients from all across the state and partner with community health systems statewide to provide cancer care closer to home.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis
