Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the safety and security of our retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the sales floor and utilize Closed-Circuit Television to identify potential theft.
  • Prepare detailed reports regarding incidents and observations.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement as necessary.
  • Provide testimony in court when required.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
  • Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
  • Benefits include Health Insurance, 401k, and Paid Time Off.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to produce clear and concise reports.
  • Assertiveness in handling confrontational situations while maintaining control.
  • Trustworthiness and the ability to work independently.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.
  • Previous experience in loss prevention is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Background in Criminal Justice or related fields is a plus.
  • Must be able to obtain state-required PERC certification prior to employment.
