Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Leader to join our team at Express, Inc. As a Sales Leader, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a team of sales associates to achieve exceptional results.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Partner with store management to provide feedback on associate performance and implement action plans to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in training associates on store operations, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
  • Monitor and analyze customer service provided by team members and implement improvements as needed.
  • Build an effective schedule with the right associate in the right place at the right time to create a great customer experience.
  • Oversee and authorize the checkout experience to ensure a seamless and efficient transaction process.
  • Assist with merchandise flow, including shipment, replenishment, and omni-channel operations.
  • Display expert knowledge of product, company policies, promotions, and loyalty programs to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Lead and model our customer experience model to ensure a positive and memorable experience for every customer.
Requirements
  • Education: High School or Equivalent
  • Years of Experience: 1
  • Proficient in use of technology (iPad, registers)
  • Meets defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours
  • Meets physical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and supervisors
  • Demonstrated sales accountability
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well with a team
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers and/or processes at once
