This position requires conducting both visual and dimensional assessments to ensure that all parts meet stringent internal and external specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting in-process and final inspections on machined components, focusing on both dimensional and visual quality.
  • Utilizing various handheld and benchtop measurement tools to confirm adherence to specified dimensions.
  • Interpreting technical drawings, work instructions, and relevant customer and industry standards.
  • Understanding and applying geometric symbols and tolerances in inspections.
  • Employing standard measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and drop indicators.
  • Collaborating with production teams to discuss inspection outcomes and recommend necessary corrective actions.
  • Alerting supervisors and team members to any production issues and assisting in their resolution.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.
  • Demonstrating adaptability in response to changing production and shipment requirements.

Work Environment
