As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Assume ultimate responsibility for coordinating plans for the total care of each resident, ensuring compliance with physician's orders, governmental regulations, and facility resident care policies.
- Communicate and interpret policies and procedures to nursing staff, and monitor staff practices and implementation.
- Admissions and Resident Care
- Participate in all admissions decisions, and may visit prospective residents before admissions.
- Collaborate with the management team to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, or resident complaints or concerns.
- Qualifications and Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state practiced.
- Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school required.
- Five years in long-term or acute healthcare preferred, with at least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience.
